Hotu Matu´a

King Hotu Matu'a introduced plants of economic use: bananas, sweet potatoes, sugar cane, pumpkins and some shrubs. The society that outlined realized astronomical observations (Mars was Matamea, Venus was Hetu "or There Aí). It also gave rise to the main society of sculptors which accounts for the prehistory of our humanity, and this society achieved the best written language of all Polynesia.
